R U OK? Are you really okay?



Today in Australia it’s R U OK? day. For a lot of people, especially in the areas immersed in lockdowns and other restrictions, the answer is no. Please take the time today to check in with friends, family or colleagues to see how they’re going. Please reach out to someone if you need to talk or need to have an emotional release.


It’s normal not to feel okay during a time when so much about life is really not okay. However to live in that state for days, weeks and months is detrimental to your physical, mental and emotional health. I’ll be posting today about things you can do to support and soothe yourself during this time.


Thank you to Holistic Services Group Australia for inviting me to write a blogpost about R U OK? day. It’s been great to be able to provide much needed stress management, coping with uncertainty, and other wellness workshops through HSG over the past couple of years to workplaces and teams.
