		Astro Tips - Western Astrology We all know the moon affects the tides. Likewise it makes sense that of course the movements of the planets affect us too! Some people have been scarred off astrology because they don't like the idea something external is dictating their life. I think this is where astrology is greatly misunderstood.  Astrology and the planets do not dictate our lives. They merely provide a certain kind of energy, and it is up to you as to how you use that energy.   To know which area of your life is most likely to be affected by the movement of the planets, especially times like new and full moons, eclipses and planetary transits, get your astrological chart done. You are more than just your Sun Sign! You can do this with a professional astrologer or by visiting a site like Astro.Com. You will need to know your time and place of birth. Once you have your chart work out which house a particular alignment is happening in, and what that house represents, eg If there is a Solar Eclipse in Libra, look to where Libra is in your chart. If it is in your 4th house, this means it could affect issues of home and family.  If it is in your 7th house it could affect your love or business relationships.   There are many great sites on the net that can help you get familiar with the life areas that each house represents.
