Rhyming Stories:
You Choose Your Way
PlanetLightworker – November
2007
I met a man who walked through life
Hand in hand with Fear
Rarely did he take a step
Without consulting this shadow seer
Everyday his Fear advised him
On whether to turn left or right
Paralysed from movement forward
Disconnected from his inner-sight
He’d have done well to hook up with Faith
A much kinder seer is she
She might ask you to jump or take a risk
But frozen you’ll never be
I knew a woman, her friend was Blame
She took it everywhere she went
To all who would listen she’d vent her spleen
Her companions she did torment
If only she could let Forgiveness in
On her door it keeps a knocking
What’s done is done, when you won’t let go
It’s your own soul that you’re blocking
Another gal I’ll call her Lucy
Jealousy was her other name
Pushed all who loved her away from her heart
Playing her little game
She could only see through eyes of green
All other women were a potential threat
All men end up leaving, this she believed
On “when?” her friends did bet
Know your own Value to kill this monster
It’s about feeling Insecure
Walk proudly knowing your Self-Worth
Then you’ll attract a love that’s pure
Others I know carry the burden of Guilt
To the priest I must confess
I’ve sinned today, I must repent
So the good Lord can me bless
But the Creator that made you
Loves you as you are
Perfections and imperfections combined
All that’s asked is that you do your best
Whatever that means at the time
So when you walk through life
Remember you choose your way
There are many paths of feeling
Pick one that uplifts and adds good things
To your emotional health and wellbeing
